Review: First Bite

First Bite First Bite by Mac Flynn
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I am still on the fence about this one, it had a cute storyline, interesting build up, fun mystery . But it didn't have the wow factor. It barely had a oh factor. I felt as if I was missing something, and was trying to catch up from the beginning. The sex was .....basic. The hero and heroine did have a nice banter between them. I enjoyed the teasing, but mates? No, I just didn't see them as "mates" more like furbuddies! Over all, cute mystery writing, warm romance, funky town. Needs some editing, even a little more depth to it. Would I read they others in the series, yes. But now I know what to expect.

Review: His Captive

His Captive His Captive by Cassandra Dee
My rating: 1 of 5 stars

WHAT THE EVER LIVING HELL DID I JUST READ...I can't even come up with the words to say how bad this was. The wording was awful, " man milk", "oozing wetly", "daddy's cumbucket". What the hell about the sister thing, I mean why invite her and act all loving to her, what was the point? I mean WHY, just WHY!

Review: Personal Delivery

Personal Delivery Personal Delivery by Ainsley Booth
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

I picked this book up on Amazon free. Had a cute story layout and I was happy to start reading. But I just couldn't manage to get past chapter 5. The writing was ok , it read a little rough draft to me. It just the dialogue was dry and not flowing. I finally gave up and skipped to the end and it wasn't any better. I am sorry to say but this one was not a winner for me.

Review: Wildcat

Wildcat Wildcat by Max Monroe
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was a laugh out loud, from start to finish winner for me! It had all the great elements needed, hot male, sexy female, laughing, kissing, sex and drama. And to top it off not one but 2 gay bff!! It was a riot to read. I can't wait to read the others in the series.

ADD TO GOODREADS

HOLY ......wow this was a H.O.T. book. It started great, it had me laughing, and fanning myself. I love the humor , and not taking everything so serious. Over all wonderful writing, drama just enough to keep you there, and humor to make it all better. Just enough bedroom play and even may teach you a little Italian! Congrats J.A. !! Your Dirty Texas men have some competition.

Review: Charmed

Charmed Charmed by Alexa Riley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

First off it is an Alexa Riley book, so you know it is going to be quick, dirty and cheesy at it's best. And this one is just that. You have Charlie who holds her own, but Warren never stops. It is a quick read, it gets right down to the point, and the drama is just enough to keep you interested. Over all another wonderful read from Alexa Riley!!

Review: Ruthless

Ruthless Ruthless by Kira Blakely
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

I started this one off with such high hopes, but the more I read the more the hopes died. I finally after not reading it for a few days , tried again. But just couldn't get into it. It just didn't have the drama , or the story to keep me interested. The hero just seemed basic and whiney. Where the heroine was just blah all around. So I skipped to the end and see what happen.

Review: The Librarian's Vampire Assistant

The Librarian's Vampire Assistant The Librarian's Vampire Assistant by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I am so on the fence about this book. Over all I enjoyed it, BUT I don't know if I will want to read anymore of the series. I know some of the questions I have will come to light in the future books, but I have so many questions. My emotions are all over the place, this just wasn't what I thought this would be. The whole Lula thing still makes me say WTF .....and yeah, I just can't with it. Sorry but I think I am not going to continue to read the series.
