Marriage is hard work, but no one ever told Maggie it would be this hard… How did life end up so completely turned upside down? When Maggie Tremblye took her vows more than six years ago, she didn’t anticipate becoming just a wife, just a mother, and no longer…Maggie. It’s impossible to cling to the bit of self-identity you have left when you’re someone’s everything… Meeting and falling in love with Michael Trembley, a young and handsome attorney, was the easy part. Moving away from her family, raising their six-year-old daughter almost singlehandedly, and learning she is now pregnant again is an entirely a different story. All she wants to do is retreat back home to Birch Valley and her loud and loving family, the O’Briens. So when Maggie hits her breaking point, she takes their daughter and reluctantly leaves Michael to his endless hours at the office. To be on top, you have to make sacrifices… Michael Trembley wants to be the best—the best corporate defense attorney, the best son, dad, and husband—but he falls short in the last two on his list of priorities. Now his perfect world is anything but. The distance from his family is a major wakeup call, but what is he willing to sacrifice to make it right? The journey of life is full of twists and turns. Will Maggie and Michael survive this bump in the road, or will their perfect idea of a family fall completely apart?

Promises are meant to be kept—but Patrick O’Brien is too numb with grief… Patrick hasn’t been able to move past the loss of his wife, who died while delivering his twin boys—Finn and Connor. While life continues around him, he is left in a state of emotional suspension, unable to honor his final vow to his wife and move on after she is gone. Faking it only goes so far… Always known as the moody older brother, Patrick maintains his distance from his overbearing but loving family. He’s barely coping, but still finds a way to be the best father he can to his sons. Amber Miller returns home and finds more than the small town she left behind…
With her son in tow, Amber reluctantly returns to Birch Valley when her parents ask for help. Their well-known diner, Herrick’s, is a staple in the community. But more than that, her father is ill, and they need the extra set of hands to keep the place going.
Lonely hearts attract… When Patrick and Amber cross paths, their instant attraction catches both off guard. Working through their own kinds of grief, the two must figure out what they want for their future—even if it’s not each other. Losing someone you love is devastating, but learning to love again comes with its own challenges. Is he strong enough to risk his heart? Or will running from love be the ultimate betrayal of Patrick’s Promise?

Where to start with this . First off
this is for all 3 books. This was a wonderful , sweet, heartfelt
series. I had my ugly cry a few times. And when it was all over with
I felt happy yet so sad they were all over with. Book one Liam/Rachel
start if there story was great, I laughed more than I think I should
. B/c Rachel and her parking spots kidnapping. Then we have
Maggie/Michael now they are already married. But Michael has his
sights on a different prize than Maggie. I felt connected to Maggie
in more way than one. Then we have Patrick/Amber. Now this one was my
ugly cry book. But it was just b/c of his love for his late wife and
his adorable twins.
These are sweet romance, you know the
kind of they kissed and then it is the next morning. And really that
was what these books needed. Because of the story behind them is so
emotional, and heart warming sex isn't needed.
Congrats Gloria you have a set of real
winners here!!
